When I was 10 years old I came a cropper trying to put together the 1/24th scale Airfix 109E, it was as big as me! So a little while later, after going back to 1/72nd scale to restore confidence, I had a go at this Matchbox kit - still detailed at 1/32nd scale but easier to build.
